OVERVIEW OF THE ABM STRAND
The Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) strand combines creativity, arithmetic, and business knowledge to prepare tomorrow’s top business professionals. Students that take ABM classes in senior high school will learn about financial management, business management, corporate operations, and accounting. Students that take this path will be prepared for a variety of occupations as managers, accountants, and entrepreneurs. These ABM courses will provide students with the industry knowledge and skills they’ll need to excel in their jobs and operate their enterprises smoothly.
ABM in senior high school is designed to prepare students who are interested in pursuing college degrees in business and management.

Accountancy Business and Management or ABM gives you much broader perspectives than basic mathematics topics. We ask some students of ABM, and he/she will positively believe that Accountancy Business and Management is not just about the numbers. Their influence in business and society, in general, goes much beyond ledgers, sheets and numbers. As a student studying this track, you don’t necessarily need to end up working as a ‘traditional’ accountant, recording transactions in ledgers and preparing ‘profit and loss statements, business analysis, finance management and investment advisory.

Learn essential abilities for their profession, such as fundamental accounting, financial management, and commerce.
Exude confidence in their ability to complete projects and assignments in their ABM strand courses, which they can apply to their future professions.
Participate in a business simulation to become familiar with the various types of decisions that business managers must make on a regular basis.
Our goal is to push our students to be articulate, have strong analytical skills, and establish collaborative skills in order to become successful business managers or leaders through their ABM strand course.

WHAT SUBJECTS YOU MAY ENCOUNTER IF YOU CHOOSE ABM STRAND?
- Fundamentals of accounting. This subject will impart us knowledge on how was a real accountant do and how to deal with different accounting procedures.
- Reading and Writing. Is Subject help those ABM students in enhancing there skills in writing and in reading. This subject will improve their reading and critical thinking.
- Principles of Marketing . This subject will allow us to applied our knowledge on this subject as we become a businessman or business women by making letters towards our clients or customers.
- E.A.P.P (English for academic and professional purposes). At first it might be the worst subject but this subject will help us to enhance our Writing skills. It will teach us on how to write correctly the, position paper, concept paper, Reaction paper and other paper that can help you in any aspect of writing. You will love writing when you write it from the bottom of your heart .
- Empowerment Technology is an Information, Communication and Technology that help us to enhance our ability and skills in Microsoft office, Excel, Photoshop, Power point and other I.C.T application that we can apply. It benefits the one who works in a Company, cafe and and other institute by making their work easier.
- Business Mathematics. In this subject you will learn the basic information about business transactions, on how you will deal in it and how you will compute your profit in an easy way.
- Practical Research 1. This will help you to be more patience and understanding. This subject will also help you to encounter lots of things that you need learn from other people in terms of their living and so on.
- Oral Communication in Context . This subject helps student to know about the Nature and Elements of Communication: Definition and the Process of Communication CONTENT STANDARDS. Students will understands the nature and elements of oral communication in context.The students will also describes the value of effective communication and its various elements.
- Personal Development . This subject covers activities that improve awareness and identity, develop talents and potential, build human capital and facilitate employ ability, enhance the quality of life and contribute to the realization of dreams and aspirations that every student could apply it int the future.
- Statistics and Probability . This subject is the study of chance and is a very fundamental subject that we apply in everyday living, while statistics is more concerned with how we handle data using different analysis techniques and collection methods.
